Left by Parent to find work, Cambodian boy "Suckle on Cow"

A grandfather in Cambodia said his grandson suckle with a cow since her parents left her village for find work

Um Oeung said, his grandson aged 20 months Tha Sophat started suckle cow in July, after Sophat saw the calf suckling its mother.


First of all, Oeung pull his grandson, but over time his grandfather was surrendered when his grandson protested. Sophat was suckle the cow for one or two times a day. Similarly, as quoted bythe Associated Press on Saturday (10/09/2011).

Sophat live with his grandfather in the province of Siem Reap is located in the northern part of Cambodia since his parents went to Thailand to find work.

Oeung said, the cow did not seem to mind when Sophat suckling him. However Oeung very worried about the health of his grandchildren who suckle from the cow directly.

Because in each cow's milk uncooked certainly contain bacteria.
