As a true computer fun, I was really happy to hear about new technology which was developed by Evoluce. It is a German company which leads in manufacturing high-quality multi-touch computing displays.
Supported by Microsoft, Evoluce has developed a Kinetic Control of Windows 7. In other words, using this development you may distantly control your PC by the movement of your hands. The only thing that is needed is staying in the range of scanning device (more information on the original source,gizmag.com). Here is a demonstration:
I was very impressed after watching this video. Many users will still prefer staying with the traditional "mouse+keyboard" controlling, however, I think that we will eventually forget about that.
Getting used to Kinetic Control is just a matter of time (the same case was with touch-display cellphones). As soon as this obstacle is cleared, the users will get lots of benefits. For example, you will be able to control you computer while staying in bed (which is my dream). And for now I need to take notebook with me, which causes harmful radiation...
I know that many of readers won't agree with me. That's why, you are welcomed to leave a comment about Kinetic Control. ;-)
